Rebates

As a High West Energy Member, you can save hundreds of dollars with rebates on energy-efficient appliances. 

When you use less electricity and water, your bill goes down. High West Energy offers our members Energy Efficient Rebates on everything from heating and cooling systems, kitchen appliances, dryers, and lighting. 

ALL REBATES LISTED BELOW MUST BE REQUESTED WITHIN 90 DAYS OF THE DATE OF THE RECEIPT.

Upon approval, rebate checks will be issued by High West Energy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Eligible equipment includes fort lifts and electric pallet jacks

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW: 

  • Up to $5,000 for electric fork lifts
  • Up to $1,500 for electric pallet jacks
  • Project cap of $20,000

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Electric motor sizes 25hp and larger
  • Applies to irrigation, farm, commercial and industrial uses
  • New and retrofit installations only, no maintenance replacements

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • Based on electric motor horsepower
  • Sliding scale from $1,600 to $6,800
  • Rebate not to exceed 50% of the VSD equipment cost
  • Per project cap of $20,000

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 10hp and above are eligible
  • Commercial and industrial motors only
  • Used and rewound motors are not eligible

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $8/hp
  • $1.50/hp wiring assistance if the motor replaces a fossil-fueled engine, or is a new installation
  • Per project cap of $20,000

REQUIREMENTS

  • Replacement or new installations
  • Minimum airflow of 2,500 CFM
  • Permanent installations only, no portable or window units
  • Limit 2 per member account

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $200/unit

REQUIREMENTS

  • Replacement or new installations
  • Attic ventilation systems do not qualify
  • Limit 2 per member account

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $100/unit

REQUIREMENTS

  • Thermostat must be ENERGY STAR® certified and installed at member consumer account
  • Limit of 2 thermostats per member account for standard/low-voltage applications 
  • Limit of 5 thermostats per member account for line-voltage applications 

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $25/thermostat

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to verify Energy Star® rating
  • Provide a copy of the receipt showing purchase with model number and a copy of the yellow Energy Guide

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $30 for a new Energy Star® rated clothes dryer
  • $90 for a heat pump (ventless) Energy Star® rated clothes dryer

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 30-gallon tank minimum
  • Electric resistance units must meet one of the following: 
    • Replacing propane or natural gas
    • New construction
  • Air Source Heat Pump water heaters must be Energy Star® rated

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW: 

  • $30 for a new Electric Resistance water heater
  • $20 additional rebate for lifetime tank warranty
  • $350/unit for air source heat pump water heater

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Includes exterior wall mounted lighting, exterior pole mounted lighting, refrigerated case lighting, and interior lighting
  • Includes new construction and retrofit applications
  • Design Lights Consortium ENERGY STAR® certification required for all lamps and fixtures
  • Product specification sheets including DLC or ENERGY STAR® verification must be included with application
  • One project per category, per member-owner account per year
  • Paid receipt must be provided with application including; product model numbers, quantities and costs

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • LED rebates are eligible for New Construction and Retrofit. The rebate value is the lower amount of a prescribed value (specified on Electrify & Save application) or, a prescribed percentage of the lighting equipment costs, or, a maximum project cap amount
  • Pole mounted lighting rebates are lesser of prescribed amount, or, 25% of fixture cost, or, a maximum project cap of $20,000 per account
  • Refrigerated case lighting rebates are lesser of prescribed amount, or, 50% of fixture cost, or, a maximum project cap of $3,000 per account
  • All other lighting rebates are lesser of prescribed amount, or, 50% of fixture cost, or, a maximum project cap of $20,000 per account 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Battery and corded electric equipment only
  • Members limited to one rebate per product except e-bikes
  • An aggregated maximum rebate of $300 per member account excludes riding lawn mowers
  • All eligible equipment is listed below; if the rebate is not listed, equipment is not eligible for rebate

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • 25% of cost up to $1000 for riding mower
  • 25% of cost up to $250 for 2-stage snow blowers
  • 25% of cost up to $150 for snow blowers, walk-behind mowers, and e-bikes
  • 25% of cost up to $100 for chainsaws
  • 25% of cost up to $50 for trimmers, leaf blowers, and power washers
  • 50% cost up to $25 for additional batteries with original purchase/application (limit 1 additional battery per product)

REQUIREMENTS: 

Base Rebate - 3/4 ton minimum

  • Provide a copy of the receipt showing purchase with model number, SEER rating, and COP rating

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $500 per ton for new systems
  • $250 per ton for replacement systems

     

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Minimum eligibility (ducted and ductless): ENERGY STAR® version 6.1, minimum standard 7.8 HSPF2
  • Incentive amount is the lower of stated rebate or 50% of equipment cost
  • AHRI certification and/or number required

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $500 for systems equal to or less than 1.5 tons (18,000 BTUs)
  • $1,500 for systems greater than 1.5 tons (18,000 BTUs)
  • $500 bonus for ducted systems with propane back-up heat (propane heating system must be able to cover a minimum of 50% of home or building space [SF] down to 17 degrees F [outdoor temp.].
  • All air-to-water radiant systems: $500/ton

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • All equipment and installation costs are required to be submitted on one application
  • One rebate per installed charger; multiple charge ports do not qualify for multiple rebates
  • Managed charger programs include member system-led demand response control or time of use electric rate
  • Photo of installed EVSE equipment and circuit in service panel required

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

Level 2 (L2)- No retail sale or fee collection capability

  • Up to 50% of installed cost maximum of $250 (rebate maximum split up to $125 for charger and up to $125 for electric service) for non-managed chargers

DCFC and L2- Retail sale or fee collection capable

  • 50% of total equipment and installation costs up to $1000 for L2
  • 50% of total equipment and installation costs up to $3000 for DCFC rated between 50-75 kW
  • 50% of total equipment and installation costs up to $5000 for DCFC rated between 76-149 kW
  • 50% of total equipment and installation costs up to $7500 for DCFC rated 150 kW & above

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must be able to verify Energy Star® rating
  • Provide a copy of the receipt showing purchase with model number and a copy of the yellow Energy guide
  • Induction cooktops must have minimum surface width of 30 inches to qualify
  • Invoice and photo of old propane/natural gas unit required
  • Refrigerators/freezers must be recycled to be eligible for rebate
  • Must be 7.75 cubic foot or greater
  • Eligible appliance recycling include: refrigerators and freezers, maximum 2 units per year per member account

INCENTIVE OVERVIEW:

  • $30 for a new Energy Star® rated appliance
  • $60 per unit for refrigerator or freezer recycling
    • Maximum of $120 per member account per year
  • $100/unit for induction cook top replacing electric
  • $350/unit for induction cook top replacing propane/natural gas or new construction (requires photo of old cooktop)
