Konnie Keehnen was born and raised in Des Plaines, Illinois, before moving to Denver, Colorado, at the age of 16 with her parents. Her career in the cooperative world began in Granby, Colorado, where she realized her passion for working in electric cooperatives. A significant moment in her career was witnessing the infamous 2004 bulldozer attack while working at Mountain Parks Electric, where she experienced an active shooter situation firsthand.
Currently, Konnie is the Member Services Manager at High West Energy, a role she has held since starting as the Billing Supervisor. After 30 years in the industry, she still considers her job the best.
Konnie and her husband, Kevin, share four daughters and have eleven grandchildren. In warm weather, they love riding their Harley Davidson together.
