Throughout the Cooperative’s service area for qualifying members in accordance with the Cooperative’s membership agreement, Bylaws, policies, regulations, and the Conditions of Service set forth herein, as well as applicable Rules of the Wyoming Public Service Commission.

To irrigation members located adjacent to the Cooperative's three-phase lines, providing the Cooperative has sufficient available capacity and all subject to the established rules and regulations of the Cooperative covering this service.

Type of Service

Three-phase, 60 hertz, at standard secondary voltage. Single-phase will be allowed at certain locations and limited horsepower.

Adder

If a member elects to incur an additional charge for purchase of “Renewable Energy” the charge will be $0.003 per subscribed kWh not to exceed total monthly usage.

Tariff Rate Rider

This rate schedule is subject to the Tariff Rate Rider set forth on Sheet Nos. 79, 81, 81a, and 81b.

Minimum Monthly Charge

The minimum charge shall be the highest of the following:

  1. The distribution monthly grid access charge.

  2. The contract minimum in accordance with the Cooperative’s line extension policy.

Determination of Billing Demand (Non-coincident peak demand)

The billing demand shall be the maximum kilowatt demand established by the member for any period of fifteen consecutive minutes during the month for which the bill is rendered, as indicated or recorded by a demand meter and adjusted for power factor as follows:

Power Factor Adjustment

The member agrees to maintain a power factor of not less than 90%, and the Cooperative reserves the right to measure such power factor at any time. Should such measurements indicate that the power factor of the member is less than 90%, the member agrees, upon sixty days written notice, to correct such power factor to 90%, or if the Cooperative shall so elect, the demand for billing purposes shall be the demand as indicated or recorded by the demand meter multiplied by 90% and divided by the power factor.

Conditions of Service

In those cases where it is necessary to extend or reinforce distribution lines, service will be furnished only under the following conditions:

  1. The member shall give satisfactory assurance supported by a written agreement for a period of not less than five years.

  2. Motors having a rated capacity in excess of ten horsepower must be three-phase.

  3. All wiring, pole lines, wires, and other electrical equipment beyond the service point will be considered the distribution system of the members and shall be furnished and maintained by the member.

  4. Capacitors are required on motors of 20 horsepower or greater.
