Residential

Call High West Energy at 307-245-3261.
- Please have the address, parcel ID, or property legal (Section, Township, and Range: 08-15-65) as well as the expected electrical load if available.
- Please indicate if you live in a subdivision. Please provide the lot, block, or track number.
A staking engineer from HWE will schedule an in-field meeting to determine the requirements and location of the service.
The service will then be designed, and the member will be provided with an estimate.
Once the estimate is paid, a representative from HWE member service’s department will work with the member to get payment and paperwork filled out.
The service will then be scheduled for construction to be built; this includes setting but not energizing the meter.
The member must then have an electrical inspection performed by the authority having jurisdiction (typically the city or county in which they reside).
Once HWE has received notification of a successful inspection, generally a picture of a meter green tag, the service will be energized.

*Please note that all combo boxes requiring house mounting must be provided by third-party electricians or home builders and meet High West Energy’s Square D 200-amp specifications. Subdivisions

A staking engineer will get a copy of the proposed subdivision.
- a .shp file and a pdf file are preferred.
A plan will be made to be sent to the subdivider and a cost estimate.
Once the plan is approved and the estimate paid, construction will be scheduled and completed.

Rental Light Program

High West Energy rents and installs lighting on existing service poles*. The monthly service charge for the light starts at $15.00 and goes up depending on the wattage of the light. The rental agreements are good for a minimum of a 12-month period. Any applicable taxes are additional, but the electricity is not registered on the meter.
